Mounting weld studs are located along the furnance's / muffle's outer metal housing. Two to three studs are usually aligned along the furnace/muffle length, and the furnace/muffle hangs from the studs.

Mounting Bracket
A third mounting option is to use a special metal bracket along the outer circumference of the furnace/muffle in lieu of studs or nuts. This approach can greatly simplify furnace/muffle installation for certain applications.
